Tortorigi Transport is a full-service third-party logistics (3PL) company specializing in affordable, on-time delivery of large, small and over-sized shipments. Our Trussville, Alabama-based team of shipping professionals offers industry-leading freight transfer and cost management to customers with locations throughout North America and worldwide.
Tortorigi third-party logistics utilizes state-of-the-art McLeod software and highly qualified carriers to assure your shipment is expedited with cost-effective efficiency and cargo integrity. We coordinate your freight with the right equipment, from less than a truckload to unique over-dimensional/heavy freight.
The Tortorigi brand is built on more than 40 years of trucking experience and customer satisfaction. We are headquartered in Trussville, AL which is 15 miles outside of downtown Birmingham.
The Opportunity
Our Transport Sales division continues to grow to meet customer demand for domestic and international freight needs. This Freight Broker position is an opportunity to be an integral part of our team and business! Your performance will be measured by consistent prospecting, closing new business and growing existing relationships through an unmatched level of service. You will help solve the supply chain challenges that customers face every day by leveraging decades of industry experience with excellent customer service.
Job Duties:
* Acquire net new customer accounts
*Manage accounts "cradle to grave"
* Build, maintain and grow existing customer relationships
* Rate lanes & bids provided by customers
* Meet monthly sales goals and load counts (provided monthly)
* Work with Sales Manager / Team on Leads, Ideas and Feedback
* Hours required: Monday – Friday. Daily starting time is at or before 7:00 am to at or after 4:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000 - $175,000 (no cap)
