Tortilla Flat, located 15 miles outside of Apache Junction in the Superstition Mountain Range, is hiring Front of House Staff for our full-service Superstition Saloon. We hire only the best, most talented people who are teamwork oriented and can handle the pressure that comes with a wait list that lasts for 5 hours. This authentic old west town is the last remaining stagecoach stop on the historic Apache Trail and one of Arizona's busiest tourist attractions. We've got a hard-working, tenured staff with several people who have worked here for over 10 years
Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. As a vital part of our restaurant, you will be clearing tables helping ensure we don't leave our guests waiting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front of house area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or complaints with a positive attitude.
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with various tasks as required.
Skills
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Spot On POS, is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
- Team player mentality with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
