Nurse Clerk (assisting School Nurse) - Torrington Middle & Torrington High Schools

This is an office clerk position assisting the school nurse at Torrington Middle School and Torrington High School in Torrington, WY, serving students in grades 6-12. Preference given to applicants with a medical background and clerical /record-keeping experience.

This is a school-year, 150-day position that includes a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement benefits, and paid leave in accordance with district policy. The start date is contingent upon the successful completion of all district pre-employment requirements.

Office Clerk

The job of Office Clerk is done for the purpose/s of providing clerical support to assigned school site personnel; communicating information to students, staff and the public; providing complete and accurate records; processing information in compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; assisting other district personnel and providing information and/or direction as may be requested.

This position reports to the school nurse and the building principal.
