Apartment Painter (Temporary)
Torres Evolution Canyon is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Apartment Painter to join our maintenance team. This temporary position plays a key role in preparing apartment homes for new residents by delivering high-quality painting and finishing work throughout the community. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and helps ensure every apartment is move-in ready.

Pay:
$15.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Type:
Temporary, On-Site
Responsibilities
- Paint apartment interiors including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and touch-up areas
- Prepare surfaces by patching holes, repairing minor wall damage, sanding, caulking, and priming as needed
- Assist with apartment make-ready projects between resident move-outs and move-ins
- Match existing paint colors and finishes to maintain community standards
- Protect flooring, fixtures, and furnishings during painting projects
- Maintain painting supplies, tools, and equipment in good working condition
- Complete work orders and assigned projects in a timely manner
- Work closely with the maintenance team to meet apartment turn deadlines
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Follow company policies and safety procedures while performing duties
Qualifications
- Previous residential, commercial, or apartment painting experience preferred
- Experience with apartment make-readies is a plus
- Knowledge of surface preparation, patching, priming, and painting techniques
- Ability to operate painting equipment, brushes, rollers, ladders, and basic hand tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, reaching, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
