Selection Procedure
District Classified application and supplemental form must be submitted to the Personnel Commission Office by the filing deadline.
The Clerical Battery Level III examination is tentatively scheduled for the weeks of October 20-31, 2025. Applicants will be notified by US mail or email.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
Those that successfully pass the examination will be notified via email when applications may be submitted for classifications assessed through the Clerical Battery Level III examination. A complete application must be submitted by the posted deadline for each classification. Selected classifications may include additional practical demonstration of skill components.
CLERICAL BATTERY EXAMINATION POLICY:
The Personnel Commission has implemented a testing program designed to streamline the testing process for selected clerical classifications. Candidates interested in applying for future clerical vacancies must pass the designated clerical battery examination.
The Clerical Battery Level III examination allows you to apply your passing score to multiple classifications. These scores may be applied toward meeting the minimum rating in the selection process to qualify for participation in the next succeeding part.

- Administrative Assistant
- School Staff Assistant II
- Senior Administrative Assistant
- Staff Assistant
- Staff Assistant - Facilities
- Staff Assistant - Human Resources
- Staff Assistant - Special Education
- Staff Assistant - Student Services & Family Welcome Enrollment Center
Passing scores from clerical battery examinations will only be applied to classifications that the applicant meets the required general qualifications. These scores are valid for a period of one (1) year.
- Applicants may not retake a clerical battery examination within a 30 day period. Those who are unsuccessful may not retake the examination within a 90 day period.
