The Opportunity: We are looking for a super-star alAssistant to join our thriving oral surgery practice. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with superior customer service and organizational skills. Work hours for this full-time position are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday, from 7:45am to 5:15pm, and one Wednesday per month for our team meetings.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
· Provide complete support to surgeon throughout routine in-office surgical procedures, including extractions, placement of dental implants, apicoectomies, and removal of pathological lesions.
· Participate in monitoring patient’s vital statistics during surgery.
· Reviews pre-op and post-op instructions with patients.
· Review patient health history and update practice management software.
· Acquire diagnostic x-rays.
· Prepare and break down surgical tray, materials, and operatory.
Qualifications
Required Skills for this Role:
· Must have 3 years of dental assisting experience
· Must be friendly and be able to maintain a smile and positive attitude in high-pressured environments.
· Superior organizational skills and be able to take initiative.
· Must be a team player and work well with others.
· Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks.
· Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
· Graduate from a California Board-approved RDA educational program
License and Certification Minimum Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate holder.
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensed in the state of California, is preferred.
- Dental radiography certificate in the state of California.
- DAANCE or OMSA certification is preferred
