- Regulates patient body temperature using warm air blanket or warm blankets.
- Provides privacy for the patient.
- Monitors and manages the patient who has recently undergone general or regional anesthesia.
- Manages adjunctive airway devices effectively, including assisting with intubations. Suctions airway passages effectively and manages use of mechanical ventilation to ensure adequate gas exchange.
- Removes artificial airway nasopharyngea Oropharyngeal LMAET Tube.
- Collects and analyzes patient data to ensure airway patency and adequate gas exchange.
- Assists patients to understand information related to a specific surgery procedure.
- Monitors patients using the Aldrete Scoring system.
- Arterial Line Management- Monitors patient with arterial line , Swan-ganz, and CVP.
- Meets with patient and family regarding feedback and follows up on their issues; Implements planned service recovery strategies, if indicated, appropriately documenting the incident and informing appropriate departments
- Monitors and reports to the Unit Lead RN any patient or family complaints, intervening before issues arise and implements service recovery strategies as needed.
