This position reports to the Clerical Supervisor and to the Director of the Breast Diagnostic Center. There are no subordinates reporting to this position.

Core Competencies
- Transcribes radiology reports from Dictaphone and MRS "tracking sheets", requiring a wide knowledge of medical and radiology terminology.
- Enters and retrieves patient information in the MRS and radiology/hospital computer system
- Generates medical reports and required follow-up letters as well as monthly reports from MRS system.
- Identifies and sets priority for work to be transcribed.
- Maintains files, cross indexing according to numerical or alphabetical coding system.
- Performs general secretarial work for department as assigned.
- Provides health care services in own job category to all age groups.
- Edits Radiology reports from PowerScribe with attention to context, grammar, punctuation and spelling.
