Job Description: As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and fixtures used in our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure the efficiency and accuracy of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Operate and maintain various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and CAD designs.
- Perform precision measurements and inspections to ensure quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and dies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role.
- Proficiency in operating machine tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, CAD designs, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.
