Senior Estimator – NYC | $175K–$200K benefits
Our client, a leading General Contractor in NYC, specializing in commercial interiors with some residential projects, is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead preconstruction efforts and prepare detailed estimates for commercial interior and select residential projects.
- Level trade contracts, manage proposals, and handle scope review with subcontractors.
- Participate in client and site meetings—present confidently and walk the job site with ease.
- Collaborate with design and project teams on design-build projects (a plus).
- Utilize your MEP knowledge and residential experience to add value to complex projects.
Who You Are:
- 10–15 years of estimating experience in commercial interiors (residential experience a bonus).
- Familiar with lump sum contracts and NCM processes.
- Skilled in presenting, negotiating, and managing trade agreements.
- Strong preconstruction and design-build experience preferred.
- Passionate about accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
