Civil Engineer (PE)
Salary: $75,000 – $120,000 (DOE)
A reputable Civil Engineering firm operating in Boca Raton and Port St. Lucie is seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) with strong land development experience. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design, project coordination, and involvement throughout the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Perform stormwater, water distribution, and sewer system calculations
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents
• Design civil site infrastructure: roads, utilities, drainage, and grading
• Oversee permit preparation, submission, certification, and closeout
• Work closely with clients, engineers, CAD technicians, and regulatory agencies
• Review shop drawings and provide construction inspection services
Requirements:
• Florida PE License (REQUIRED)
• 5 years of civil land development experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; ICPR/ASAD preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
• Candidates with EIT will also be considered
