TORQ Distribution, a highly professional sales and distribution company, is seeking a self-motivated, high-energy individual to join our team as a Warehouse Manager in St. Louis, MO. The Warehouse Manager plays a critical part in maintaining our high standards of service in the automotive industry by driving operational improvements, managing team performance, and optimizing inventory processes.

Who we are looking for: 
The Warehouse Manager oversees the daily operations of warehouse personnel, productivity, ensuring efficient processes for receiving, storing, and distributing products. This role focuses on staff supervision, process improvement, project management, and supporting the Director of Operations. The Warehouse Manager will identify inefficiencies, design solutions, and drive operational excellence in line with the company’s goals. 

What we will expect: 

Staff Supervision & Training 

• Lead and hold warehouse team members accountable, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. 
• Provide hands-on assistance to warehouse staff and conduct quarterly performance reviews. 
• Monitor productivity and coach team members to maximize efficiency. 
• Mentor Assistant Warehouse Managers. 

Warehouse Operations 

• Oversee product check-in, storage, and distribution to ensure smooth operations. 
• Maintain facility cleanliness and address repair needs promptly. 

Asset & Vehicle Management 

• Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure vehicles are clean and operational. 
• Track equipment locations and ensure timely delivery of products, including special requests. 

Project Management & Process Improvement 

• Lead warehouse-related projects, identifying and resolving operational inefficiencies. 

Data Navigation & Analysis 

• Monitor warehouse performance using data, optimizing labor, delivery, and costs. 
• Use Excel for data analysis and decision-making. 

Personnel Management & Leadership 

• Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards. 
• Communicate effectively across all departments and all levels of management.

Performance & Cost Control 

• Manage labor costs and use GPS data to improve efficiency in vehicle usage. 

Director of Operations Support 

• Assist with strategic initiatives and contribute to high-level decision-making. 

Final Mile Delivery Management 

• Ensure TORQ Distribution’s final mile is met by coordinating logistics to ensure products reach customers on time and in optimal condition. 
• Collaborate with logistics and sales teams to address any delays, ensuring products reach customers on time and in optimal condition. 

Skills you will need: 

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in managing warehouse operations, personnel, and projects preferred, but not required. 
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. 
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of inventory systems. Sage is preferred. 
• The ability to lead process improvements and manage multiple responsibilities effectively is required.

Qualifications

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
