Salary: $75,000-$100,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Financial Accuracy - Keeps books clean and accurate; catches errors before they hit reports
• Closing & Reporting - Delivers timely month-end close and clear reports for leadership
• Cash & Controls - Manages cash flow, AR/AP, and basic internal controls
• Business Partnering - Works with ops and sales to explain numbers and impacts
• Systems & Process - Builds simple, repeatable processes (checklists, SOPs, automations)

Success Metrics for the Role

• Clean, accurate books every month (on-time close, minimal adjustments)
• Cash visible and under control (clear AR/AP, no surprises)
• Useful, decision-ready financial reporting for the GM
• Solid basic controls and compliance (billing, AP, payroll, approvals)
• Clear support for pricing, cost insights, and decision-making
• Finance processes are documented and scalable (no chaos as volume grows)

Experience Requirements:

• 5-7 years of professional accounting experience
• 2-3 years managing or leading a team
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-location accounting
• Experience creating, reviewing, and managing financial statements
• Experience with month-end and year-end close
• Experience overseeing AR/AP, reconciliations, and payroll

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Experience with CRM integration into accounting workflows
• Experience running job costing, WIP reports, and gross profit tracking
• Excel/Google Sheets proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)

Other Requirements:

• Strong communication skills with non-accounting teams
• Ability to build processes, not just manage them
• Ability to train and mentor a small team
