Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about holistic and natural care, have experience working in a healthcare office, familiarity with electronic medical records, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient intake processes by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates to support clinical assessments.
- Assist in documentation and charting.
- Support physicians with clinical tasks including medication administration.
- Receive and respond to follow-up and clarification questions from patients, share lab information with patients.
- Assist patients with set up of patient portals.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by sterilizing equipment, managing supplies, and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to discharge.
