Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is seeking applications from seasoned professionals for the exciting role of Server.Nestled in the heart of Southwest Florida’s vibrant landscape, Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach, under the proud operation and ownership of TPI Hospitality, offers not just a job but an opportunity for unparalleled personal and professional growth.Margaritaville is looking for servers to join our restaurant operations on the property.  Ideal candidates are quick on their feet, confident communicators, and thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. What You’ll Do:  

• Greet guests warmly and enthusiastically upon arrival, creating a welcoming and memorable first impression that reflects the spirit of hospitality.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials in order to confidently answer questions, accommodate guest preferences, and make personalized recommendations.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders in a timely manner, inputting them efficiently into the point-of-sale (POS) system while ensuring clarity and precision to minimize errors.
• Proactively suggest menu items and upsell beverages, appetizers, or desserts based on guest interests, dietary restrictions, and current promotions, enhancing both guest satisfaction and sales.
• Clearly communicate any food allergies, dietary preferences, or special requests to kitchen staff to ensure safe, customized preparation and delivery of meals.
• Provide attentive, detail-oriented service throughout the meal—refilling beverages, clearing plates, anticipating guest needs, and checking in to ensure their expectations are being met or exceeded.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and a calm demeanor, resolving issues quickly or escalating to management when necessary to guarantee guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and side-work zones to ensure a sanitary and efficient work environment.
• Support the team by assisting with opening and closing duties, restocking supplies, polishing glassware and silverware, and ensuring a seamless shift transition.
• Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-level service that aligns with resort standards, while fostering a positive dining atmosphere for guests and coworkers alike.

What We’re Looking For:  

• Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor.  
• 6 months to 1 year experience as a server, preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment  
• Ability to work in an outside, non-climate-controlled environment which includes heat, sun, cold, and rainy conditions.
• Willing to work flexible work schedules that include nights and weekends.  
• Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and lift to 25 pounds unassisted.  
• Physically able to walk on sand, concrete, and pavers.

This restaurant is located on the first floor, with the kitchen located on the second floor; using stairs will be a part of your daily tasks.License to Chill Restaurant: Located on the sunset terrace, you can see the view of Fort Myers Beach at any time of day with an upbeat and beachy vibe. This open-air venue runs from breakfast through late night, serving casual bites, cocktails, and live music.5 O'clock Somewhere Bar: Located inside the Fins Up! Beach Club, this beachside bar is all about good vibes, fresh coastal eats, and tropical cocktails. This poolside bar is served with a view of the Gulf, a soundtrack of live music, and the most fun and energetic spots on property. The kitchen is just above our bar with stairs and elevator access.JWB Grill: As part of the JWB team, you’ll be working in a setting that values casual sophistication and genuine hospitality.
