The VP of Technology establishes a clear technology vision that aligns systems, data, and teams with business priorities. This role ensures technology enables restaurant teams to serve guests efficiently and consistently, while scaling reliably with the needs of the business through strong partnership with leaders across the organization.
What You'll Be Doing
- Set Technology Strategy - You will define and own the company's long-term technology roadmap, aligning systems, platforms, and investments with business priorities and growth plans
- Lead and Develop the Technology Team - You will build, coach, and retain a high-performing technology organization.
- Own Core Business Systems - You will ensure POS, restaurant systems, back-office platforms, corporate applications, and integrations are reliable, scalable, and well-supported.
- Enable Restaurant Operations - You will partner closely with operations to ensure technology works in real restaurant conditions, supports speed and accuracy, and minimizes disruption for teams.
- Drive Data and Analytics Enablement - You will oversee data platforms and tools that support reporting, insights, and informed decision-making across the business.
- Manage Security Risk - You will establish strong cybersecuirty, data privacy, and disaster recovery practices appropriate for growing a multi-state restaurant company.
- Oversee Vendors and Partners - You will select, manage, and hold technology vendors accountable for performance, cost, and service levels.
- Guide Technology Investment - You will manage technology budgets, prioritize spend, and clearly communicate trade-offs and return on investment.
- Support Growth and New Restaurants - You will ensure technology scales smoothly with new restaurant openings, market expansions, and evolving guest expectations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 10 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including responsibility for enterprise-wide systems
- Experience leading technology in a multi-unit, consumer-facing business such as restaurants, retail, or hospitality
- Demonstrated experience building and leading managers and senior technical leaders
- Strong understanding of modern cloud-based systems, integrations, and cybersecurity practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading technology in the restaurant industry
- Experience supporting rapid growth and new unit expansion
- Background with restaurant POS, workforce, and guest loyalty systems
