Job Description

 

Torch Technologies is looking for a Supply Support Specialist to provide outstanding support to the Space and Missile Defense Command Center of Excellence (SMDCoE). Duties will include: 

• Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more complex programs
• Analyzes complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
• Conduct Army-focused logistics support tailored to the customer by preparing, conducting, and submitting results of quarterly and annual inventories, as well as sensitive item inventories.
• Coordinate the receipt, turn-in, and disposal of material for the customer, including managing lateral transfers and fieldings with internal and external agencies.
• Utilize multiple inventory accounting and inventory tracking systems for Accounting for and receiving material from various depots and the customer's Property Book Office.
• Conduct joint inventories and brief Hand Receipt Holders on property accountability procedures in accordance with AR 710-2, AR 735-5, and local Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure customer compliance with the organization's Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) by managing stock levels and assisting in conducting internal audits with hand receipt holders.
• Support the government logistics officer in identifying and accounting for Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP).

 

Job Requirements

 

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years related experience in the logistics field.
• Experience with GCSS-Army and Electronic Turn-in Document (ETID).
• Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.

 

Preferred: 

• Ability to obtain a forklift and driver’s license.

Salary range: $84,000-$93,000
