Torch Technologies is seeking a Acquisition Security Support Specialist to join the security team providing engineering and engineering management Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS). This position supports the Technical and Management Advisory Services (TMAS2) contract at Eglin AFB, FL.
As a Acquisition Security Support Specialist , your duties will include but will not be limited to:
Provide advice and assistance in manning the entry control desk, monitoring the facility entrance, implementing force protection notices and fire alarm status, monitoring a PED (Personal Electronics Device) detection system, and answer the Division Security telephone
Provide entry control desk duties including maintaining visitor log and visitor badge control, monitoring video security systems, and coordinating delivery receipt and paging personnel
Conduct and update the end-of-day security checklists and rosters in coordination with the security manager as well as directed physical security inspections involving climbing ladders higher than 20 feet and working in confined spaces for limited time periods.
Conduct and report weekly Random Anti-terrorism Measures and support security inspections
Identify deficiencies in the controlled area security and coordinate solutions with the security manager and site ops/infrastructure team.
Required Qualifications:
US Citizenship
Must have an Associate's degree with 3 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years’ experience or equivalent work-related experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a DoD, DoE or other industrial Security program and in-depth knowledge of the DoD, DoE or other government security regulatory manual.
Must have a Top Secret clearance at hire with the ability to obtain SCI access within 6 months of job start.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with Advance Programs
Previous experience in SAP Security
Bachelor's Degree in applicable discipline
Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program Security Fundamentals Professional Certification recommended but not required.
