Overview
We are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities across our facilities. This leadership role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, facilities management, and team supervision. The ideal candidate will possess excellent management skills, technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to manage complex projects to ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our building infrastructure.
Duties
- Supervise and lead maintenance teams responsible for routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance of building systems.
- Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical (including high and low voltage), plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to building systems.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to industrial maintenance and facilities management.
- Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for audit purposes.
- Implement best practices in maintenance management to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial facilities.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively.
- Technical knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance planning and tracking.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrical work using tools such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles including safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting.
- Project management experience to oversee large-scale repair or upgrade projects.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently.
- Leadership qualities with a focus on safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
