Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with common office software such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Willingness to participate in hands on work with materials and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Interest in and desire to learn about composites.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a professional setting.
- Must be able to work in a lab environment 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
- Able to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities:
- Manufacture of test laminates/specimens and data analysis for properties of laminates from two material categories (Thermoplastic and High Temp. Thermoset).
- Intern will be responsible for learning and executing:
- Best Practices regarding the manufacture of laminates.
- Preparation of test specimens including conditioning.
- Execution of uncured prepreg physical testing and cured laminate mechanical testing.
- Intern will be responsible for learning and executing:
- Assist team members with daily tasks and ongoing projects to support departmental goals.
- Conduct research and gather data to contribute to reports, presentations, and decision-making processes.
- Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions to learn about project planning and execution.
- Help maintain organized documentation and update databases or tracking systems as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure clarity and alignment on assignments.
