SUMMARY
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all equipment, machinery and facilities. This role ensures minimal downtime, compliance with safety regulations, and the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to support operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians and staff.
- Responsible for maintaining and communicating all maintenance schedules.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components while minimizing excess stock.
- Source, order, and track spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
- Implement inventory control systems and optimize stock levels.
- Coordinate installation, upgrade, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with production and operation teams to minimize equipment downtown.
- Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports.
- Maintain maintenance budgets, inventory, and procurement of parts and supplies.
- Drive Kaizen initiatives to improve equipment reliability, maintain processes, and overall plant efficiency.
- Inspect facilities and equipment to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
- Completes maintenance personnel performance evaluations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Educate, maintain, follow and review IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards.
- Contribute to a positive environment.
- Communicate with all departments professionally and effectively.
- Promote and maintain a clean work environment consistent with 5S practices.
- Manage facility infrastructure such as roofing, parking areas, and structural components.
- Maintain fire safety systems, alarms, and emergency equipment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises employees within the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; 2 related experience and/or training preferred. Knowledge of welding, machining, electricity, and fabrication required. Must have ability to use measurement and test equipment (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc.) and ability to read blueprints. Knowledge and / or experience with IATF16949 and ISO 14001 are preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be a self-starter with good communication skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Experience and proven ability in interacting with people in a positive, motivating way. Ability to interpret complex electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic blueprints.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
None required. DOT hazmat and powered industrial truck certifications are preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
