Anesthesia Technician (Allied Health)
Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
Contract Type: Travel Assignment (No local candidates within 50 miles)
Start Date: Flexible | Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to hospital protocols.
- Assist anesthetists by providing necessary supplies and support during surgical procedures.
- Monitor and record equipment performance and patient responses during anesthesia administration.
- Ensure anesthesia supplies are stocked, sterile, and ready for use at all times.
- Clean, sterilize, and store medical instruments and equipment properly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of equipment maintenance and patient care activities.
- Support training of new staff or students on anesthesia equipment and procedures.
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Anesthesia Technician.
- High School Diploma required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Additional clinical specialty certifications preferred (e.g., Certified Anesthesia Technologist, Pharmacy Technician registration in Georgia).
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Basic IT skills for electronic record management.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- No local candidates within 50 miles considered for this position.
