Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients preparing for surgery
- Monitor patients’ physical condition, vital signs, and pre-op readiness
- Administer medications and prepare patients according to physician orders
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth pre-operative processes
- Document patient care and update EMR accurately
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pre-operative nursing
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a deferred schedule
- Candidates residing beyond 50-mile radius considered
- Unit Type: Pre-Operative Nursing
- Shift: 12-hour days, 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- On-Call: Not required
