Database Administrator 3

Location: Downtown Columbus,OH

Work Experience: 8-10 years

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage SQL Server databases (VMs, on-prem & cloud)
  • Handle installations, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance
  • Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring
  • Configure security, clustering, replication, and log shipping
  • Provide Tier III support and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support DevOps tools
  • Work across Azure and Oracle database platforms

Required Experience:

  • 6 years SQL Server DBA experience
  • Multi-datacenter environment support
  • Strong in SQL configuration, performance tuning, and HA setups
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, Nginx)
