TOPSHOT is a premier badminton and pickleball facility dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for our members. We are seeking a dynamic, customer-oriented sports enthusiast to join our front office team!
Do you love sports and being around people? Do you have a passion for badminton, pickleball, or other paddle sports? If so, we want to hear from you! While previous experience is not required, Previous experience in sales and/or being a sports enthusiast and/or having experience playing paddle sports like badminton or pickleball will be a definite plus!
Job Summary
As a Front Office Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, managing member accounts, and supporting the overall operations of the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting members and guests warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Efficiently check members in and out of the facility, ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Conduct facility tours for prospective members and provide detailed information about membership benefits.
- Drive new membership sales through effective sales presentations and relationship building.
- Assist with the new member enrollment process, including collecting necessary information and processing payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records, including address changes, payment information, and contact preferences.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions, including memberships, merchandise, and court rentals.
- Manage facility operations during tournaments and events, including scheduling, reservations, and customer support.
- Adhere to strict data privacy guidelines to protect member information.
- Assist with general front office duties, such as answering phones, managing email inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- (Bonus!) Share your passion for badminton, pickleball, or other paddle sports with our members!
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including iPad and Windows.
- Basic understanding of point-of-sale systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
