TOPS Staffing is looking for several Production or Manufacturing Supervisors for various clients here in the Greater Pittsburgh area. Currently our biggest need is for individuals with experience working in either a steel mill or foundry type settings.

Job Details:
Direct hire
Located in Leetsdale, PA
Hours: 12hr shift schedule, could involve doing a rotation between daylight and night shift or could be steady daylight or steady night shift. (still determining what the schedule is going to be moving forward)
Pay: Based on experience and ability. Most in the range of 55k to 75k company benefits and incentives packages.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervise either union or non-union employees on assigned shift
Responsible for overall direction and performance of assigned shift employees
Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment
Ensure shift meets production quotas
Ensure company meets production targets to ensure on time delivery to customers
Maintain company quality standards by ensuring employees are performing duties at or above company quality specifications.
Ability to help train new hired employees
Communicate with various departments with in the company, maintenance, sales, engineering, etc.
Responsible for filling out production reports
Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree or 3-5 years work experience in similar supervisory position
Experience working in a mill or foundry in some capacity during your career
Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs on occasion
Stand, bend, lift when needed for 12hr shift
