Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Accessory Installer/Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various truck accessories. Your expertise will ensure that each install is done properly and meets quality expectations. This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive work and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills , has the ability to work efficiently with various tools and equipment and any wiring or previous experience is a plus.
Shop hours of 8AM-5PM Monday - Friday, with some flexibility of hours, if needed.
Optional: 1 Saturday a month 9-3
Duties
- Install a variety of truck accessories such as bed liners, running boards, tonneau covers, lighting systems, and other aftermarket parts according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine tasks including inspections, checking inventory, keeping shop clean and organized.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, etc as needed.
- Problem solve through research and / or enlisting Senior techs for assistance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain high-quality standardsSkills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and instructions.
- Experience with any kind of wiring, while not required is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive service procedures and safety practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation
- Ability to get up into truck beds and lay on the floor to work under vehicle when needed
- Previous mechanic experience or background in any type of wiring or installation enhances performance in this role
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality assurance
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding customer needs

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
