Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure proper adhesion of waterproofing materials
- Install waterproof membranes, coatings, sealants, and other related materials according to project specifications and blueprints
- Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints to accurately execute waterproofing tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Conduct inspections during and after application to ensure waterproofing quality and compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and address site-specific challenges
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints
- Experience with plumbing or electrical systems is a plus but not required
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for site preparation or material handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Physical ability to perform manual labor involving ladder use, lifting heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions
