What You’ll Be Doing
- Use computer systems to pull pick lists and stage materials for production jobs
- Scan and track materials to ensure accurate inventory and location control
- Monitor WIP racks and ensure availability for incoming materials
- Apply and scan labels for all WIP rolls before storage
- Return unused raw materials and rolls to the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and scanning
- Ensure all rolls are properly secured before movement
- Load scrap pallets and dispose of materials in designated areas
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials throughout the plant
- Perform daily forklift safety inspections in compliance with OSHA standards
- Follow all plant safety and food safety policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support cycle counts and year-end inventory activities
- Frequent standing, walking, and forklift operation
- Regular use of scan guns and computer systems
- Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed
- You have experience handling raw materials in a manufacturing environment
- You have prior forklift experience
- You can safely handle materials and equipment
- You can work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision
- You bring a strong attention to detail and accountability
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- You can take initiative and support team operations
