Dispatcher/Operations

Job Overview: The Full-Time Dispatcher will coordinate among drivers, terminals and internal teammates and customers with daily dispatching related tasks and other duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with drivers, terminals, customers, and co-workers through e-mails, phone calls, etc.
• Track, trace and update the shipment status daily.
• Run reports daily to ensure all shipments status are updated/followed-up properly.
• Report to Management when there are any issues.
• Perform other duties as requested/assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications Required:

• Highschool or above education.
• Minimum Typing Speed 50 WPM or higher
• Intermediate and/or advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Browser Navigation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal (verbal, written and phone), strong follow-up skills
• Have a strong desire to learn and grow
• Must be a fast learner with a positive attitude and can work independently, as well as a team player
• Bilingual in English and Chinese
• Must be a US Resident

Preferred:

• Bilingual: English and Chinese
• Minimum 1-years’ working experience in the freight forwarding or trucking dispatching industry.

Work Schedule:

• Working hours: M-F 8:30am to 5:30pm or weeknights, subject to change.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
