Operations Intern

Topnotch Events is bringing multiple professional sporting events to the Midwest this winter. The events include Squash in the Land (Professional Squash), the Cleveland Open (Professional Men's Tennis) and the Dow Tennis Classic (Professional Women's Tennis). This internship would consist of aspects including sales/sponsorship, player relations and general operations. The internship will consist of some remote work, as well as on site work at Squash in the Land and the Cleveland Open. Travel to Michigan will not be a part of this internship. 

Squash in the Land will take place in Cleveland from January 13th - January 18th. This event is part of the PSA Squash Tour and features players ranked 5 - 50 in the world. The early rounds will take place at several clubs in Cleveland, with the finals taking place at University Hospitals Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute. 
The Cleveland Open will be played at the Cleveland Racquet Club from February 1st - February 8th. This event is a part of the ATP Challenger Tour, featuring male players ranked 75 - 300 in the world. 

The Dow Tennis Classic is a WTA event and is one of the longest lasting professional tennis tournaments that takes place in the United States, going on year 37. The event takes place from February 15th - February 22nd in Midland, MI, featuring female players ranked 50 - 200 in the world.  

Topnotch Events also owns & operates the largest annual women's sporting event in Cleveland, Tennis in the Land (a professional women's tennis tournament). 

Time Commitment Expectations: Specific time commitment will be discussed on an individual basis that can be shaped based on school & possible sports schedule. This position will be a mix of working virtually and in person at the Cleveland Open & Squash in the Land.

Preferred: Sports Studies, Exercise Science or Business Major.

Preferred: Interest in Sports, Interest in Event Management.
Must live or attend school in Northeastern Ohio, or be able to travel to the event for its duration.
