Appliance Repair Technician

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose and repair household appliances. This position primarily involves working at a single, designated location, with occasional travel to customer homes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience repairing dryers, washing machines, and occasionally refrigerators. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair residential appliances, including: Dryers Washing machines Refrigerators (occasionally) Work on major appliance brands such as Hotpoint, GE, Amana, and Maytag Perform repairs efficiently and accurately at our primary service location (approximately 95% of work) Travel to customer homes for service calls as needed (approximately 5% of work) Maintain a clean and organized workspace Communicate clearly regarding repair status, parts needed, and timelines Work Schedule: Flexible hours Typically 2–3 scheduled workdays per week Opportunity to adjust schedule based on workload and availability Qualifications: Proven experience in appliance repair (preferred) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems Valid driver’s license (required for occasional service calls) Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience (hourly or per job – specify if needed) Why Join Us: Flexible schedule with consistent work available Primarily shop-based work (minimal travel required) Opportunity to grow with a local, expanding business
