We’re looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer with 10 years of experience to play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our platform and guiding teams as we scale. This role is both highly technical and highly collaborative — you’ll design and build complex systems, mentor engineers across levels, and influence technical strategy across multiple teams.

Experience
What we are looking for:
- A seasoned engineer with minimum 8 years of experience designing, building, and scaling complex systems
- Proven experience with Python and Django/Django REST Framework in production environments
- Strong front-end development skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and Redis
- Hands-on experience with AWS (Fargate, ECR, S3) and modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Exposure to or interest in AI/ML tools such as PydanticAI, OpenAI APIs, and agentic AI development
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers across levels
- Apply expert-level technical knowledge across multiple domain
- Design and build complex systems that span multiple teams
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies in a strategic, pragmatic way
- Create reusable architectural patterns and frameworks that raise the engineering bar
- Deeply understand system dependencies and interactions across the stack
- Identify and address technical debt at the system level to ensure long-term reliability
