Role Description
- Interpretation of images, analyzing mammograms, breast ultrasounds, body ultrasounds, pelvic MRIs and breast MRIs to diagnose and identify abnormalities.
- Communicate findings with diagnosis and impressions to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Quality control and assurance to maintain the accuracy and reliability of the medical imaging equipment and process.
- Diagnosing and reporting on a variety of medical conditions and abnormalities based on imaging findings.
- Work collaboratively with referring physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely diagnostic care.
- Interpreting and integrating patients’ history and clinical information into diagnostic report.
- Consult with other radiologists or specialists as needed for complex cases.
- Provide guidance to radiology technologist on proper imaging techniques.
- Compliance with regulatory and quality assurance requirements.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience as a breast specialized radiologist.
- Board Certification in Radiology and Fellowship Training with a focus on breast imaging (preferred)
- Read breast MRI, US, Mammos, (body U.S. and Pelvic MRIs a plus).
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.
