What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Branch Manager position at TopLine Financial Credit Union?
TopLine Financial Credit Union has been a member-owned financial services cooperative since 1935. We are looking for outgoing individuals to join our TopLine team that is dedicated to building life-long relationships to help our members reach and manage their financial goals.
A successful Assistant Branch Manager will be able to do:
- Commits to TopLine’s strategic and corporate goals.
- In the Branch Manager’s absence, is responsible for the operation of the branch, including, but not limited to, personnel, the physical property, level of service, business results, and all matters that contribute to the operation of the branch.
- Supports the sales environment by personally selling and referring and by coaching others to do the same.
- Supervise the work of FSR’s and other branch staff.
- Opens and closes personal and business accounts and products including, but not limited to, IRA accounts, Money Market accounts, Certificates of Deposit, checking accounts, and secondary savings accounts.
- Interviews credit applicants, completes credit scoring, evaluates security position, analyzes credit qualifications, completes information for loan disbursal and where applicable, recommends exceptions to Loan Operating Policy on credit applications.
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of TopLine operations, depository products, investment products, and lending products.
Salary Range: $53,241.46 - $70,988.62 (salary)

- High school degree or equivalent and a minimum of three years teller experience at a financial institution essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
- Ability to supervise and motivate others to obtain sales goals.
- Ability to meet deadlines essential.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and direct others. Leads by example.
- Demonstrated ability to meet branch sales goals and objectives.
- Good math aptitude and ten key skills with 90% accuracy essential.
- Must present a professional image as representative of the credit union.
- Ability to work effectively with people in a diverse environment that encompasses regular deadlines, where change is always possible and flexibility is required.
- Personal Computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite software essential.
