Company Description
Set sail on a new career with Carnival, and help us bring the FUN to life aboard one of our fantastic vessels. We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join us as Baker, with opportunities to sail in U.S. waters and beyond. In this role, you are expected to adhere to Carnival’s timekeeping and attendance policies, as well as participate in all required safety duties and functions. You should possess intermediate knowledge of USPH culinary policies and consistently maintain all related records in your assigned work area. Building positive working relationships within the team is essential, along with actively contributing ideas and feedback to support operational success. A thorough understanding of all assigned recipes is required to ensure food quality, proper replenishment, and correct serving temperatures in line with food safety standards. You must also demonstrate knowledge and proper handling of all equipment used in your area, while supporting cost management and waste reduction initiatives. Taking ownership of operational issues and seeking resolution in coordination with peers and supervisors is expected, along with active participation in guest satisfaction programs, training sessions, and drills.
Requirements :
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pastry/bakery production.
- Background in Culinary Arts or certified pastry/bakery training.
- Strong experience with ovens, mixers, and bakery equipment.
- Good English communication skills.
- Experience in hotels, bakeries, or cruise lines is a plus.
- Minimum 21 years old.
