the manufacturing facility by assisting the EHS Manager in implementing,
monitoring, and improving environmental, health, and safety programs.
This role helps ensure regulatory compliance, reduces workplace risks,
promotes safe behaviors, and drives continuous improvement in
environmental and safety performance across the plant. The EHS
Specialist Exhibits exceptional verbal and written communication skills,
has demonstrated an understanding of applicable laws and regulations and
an ability to apply the requirements to Company Environmental & Safety
programs. Supports key E&S programs as assigned. Emphasis will be in the
management of safety policies and procedures, management of hazardous
waste and materials, and emergency preparedness/response. Works
independently or as a team member as directed by supervisor. TECHNICAL
COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Ability to use Microsoft
Suite Auditing, risk assessments, and inspections Incident
investigations and root cause analysis Industrial hygiene fundamentals
Technical writing and data analysis and reporting Emergency preparedness
and response Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be
able to read, write and understand English EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s degree in Environmental Science,
Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or
related field is preferred 1 - 3 years of EH&S experience in a
manufacturing or industrial setting Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA,
RCRA, CAA, and hazardous waste regulations Strong communication,
organizational, and computer skills Preferred certifications: OSHA 30
HAZWOPER (24/40 hr) First Aid / CPR DOT Hazardous Materials PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable): The employee may be
frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles The employee may be
exposed to confined spaces while working on machines The employee is
regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time. The
employee may be required to stand, sit, crouch, walk and bend/conform in
uncomfortable positions for varying periods of time Will be required to
use vision including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision,
depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Occasionally required
