What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator - TFI Commercial Door (Manhattan, KS) position at TOPEKA FOUNDRY & IRON WORKS?
- Estimates Commercial Door packages in new construction, remodel, and installation for construction projects across the Midwest.
- Reviews construction drawings and specifications to determine pricing for project proposals.
- Communicates with vendors on job specific pricing requests.
- Communicates with customers and solicits feedback on current and future project opportunities.
- Meets or exceed annual estimating volume expectations based on experience.
- Coordinates with project management staff upon notification of award for project handoff purposes.
- 2 Years of commercial door, frame, and hardware experience required.
- 1 Years of estimating experience required.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Degree in Construction or Business-related fields preferred, but not required.
- Protech or similar software experience preferred.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office products.
