Melt Restaurant, in the Promenade Shops in Center Valley, PA is seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Prep Cook/Platter. This role is responsible for but not limited to: preparing a variety of desserts, baking and assembling cakes, preparing creams, making garnishes and plating for dinner service.
Essential qualifications: Possess pastry arts expertise, strong attention to detail, excellent organization and teamwork skills, great communication skills and ensuring the highest food handling and kitchen sanitation standards.
Compensation will commensurate with experience.
Successful candidates will meet the following requirements:
- Relevant and recent kitchen experience
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Able to lift objects up to 40 pounds frequently
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Willingness to work as a team and demonstrate initiative
- Must be at least 18years of age
Compensation is based on experience.
