Sales Representative – Flexible Packaging
Location: Fairfield, NJ (Travel Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time, M-F 9am-5pm
Company Overview:
A leading provider of innovative packaging solutions is expanding its sales team and seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to drive business development and expand our client base.
Position Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and consistently meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of the flexible packaging industry and a proven ability to close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through sourcing, prospecting, and networking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to drive sales growth.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate flexible packaging solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing dealsMeet and exceed quarterly sales targets, including lead qualification, referrals, and revenue goals.
- Create and deliver compelling client presentations, manage proposals, and address client concerns.
- Travel across the U.S. and Canada for client meetings (travel expenses covered).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven sales experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably within flexible packaging.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently without micromanagement.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Track record of successfully growing existing client accounts.
- Persistent, strategic, and results-driven approach to sales.
