What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Development Coordinator Must be RN position at Topaz Fiscal Services LLC?
Duties include but not limited to:
EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS:
Current State Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of MDS, care plan development and chart auditing of the nursing process. Strong oral and written communication. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, family, community members, volunteers and other facility staff. Good standing in the state registry is required.

- Staff orientation is completed with f/u of additional needs

- Nursing new hire orientation

- Maintain education files on staff
- Oversee all covid testing per policy/outbreaks
- Maintain all covid reports on employees/residents
- Maintain IC logs for community & acquired infections
- Review individual infection report forms on residents for completion and tracking
- Antibiotic stewardship
