Essential Job Functions:
- Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Meet with nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities.
- Verify that all nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures.
- Perform routine charting duties and maintain accurate and detailed documentation.
- Administer medication as ordered by the physician and maintain accurate medication records.
- Provide physical assessment, deliver care, and maintain optimal resident comfort.
- Respond promptly to call lights and other resident needs.
- Consult with physicians and review resident charts as necessary.
- Registered Nurse with current state license
- Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
- Good leadership qualities
- Organized and detailed work performance
- Good communication skills
- Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people
- Comply with Residents Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures
- Perform work tasks within physical demand requirements
