Your Role at TOP TOY
As a TOP TOY store assistant, you will serve as the store manager’s right-hand person and act as an ambassador for our brand culture and the appeal of trend-driven toys. You will assist the store manager in coordinating daily operations, connecting with trendy toys through professional service and a passionate attitude, and contributing to store performance growth and team efficiency.
Responsibilities
1. Uphold and promote brand values; assist the store manager in ensuring smooth store operations by implementing customer service, merchandise display, and operational procedure standards.
2. Drive membership program promotion; guide customers through registration and foster loyalty to help improve customer retention and store sales performance.
3. Assist in inventory management, handling product shipments, damage, returns, and supply of consumables, and cooperate in inventory control.
4. Collaborate with the Store Manager on recruitment, training, scheduling, and mentoring of interns to support team building and talent retention.
5. Assist with administrative tasks, provide operational insights, ensure compliance, and implement visual merchandising standards.
6. Provide constructive team feedback, collaborate on addressing internal and external product shrinkage, and work with the loss prevention team to implement control measures.
7. Adhere to cash handling procedures, maintain a clean and safe store environment, and lead the team to achieve sales targets.
8. Be available for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be willing to provide cross-store support or undertake short-distance business trips.
Qualifications
1. At least 1 year of retail industry experience; candidates with team collaboration or basic leadership experience are preferred.
2. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and customer relationship management skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly establish effective connections with customers and team members.
4. Strong interest in the collectible toy industry; familiarity with figurines, blind boxes, and similar product categories is preferred.
5. High school diploma or equivalent; preference given to candidates with an associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.50 per hour
