A well-established law firm is seeking a Trademark Attorney with 3 to 7 years of experience in trademark and copyright law. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of trademark and copyright matters, including portfolio management, risk assessment, prosecution, enforcement, and litigation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct trademark searches, assess risk, and manage prosecution, maintenance, enforcement, and litigation matters.
- Advise clients on trademark portfolio management, including domestic and international trademarks, and handle complex legal and business issues.
- Navigate the U.S. Trademark Office’s processes to secure trademark registrations efficiently.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- 3 to 7 years of experience handling trademark and copyright matters.
- Strong ability to collaborate with other practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
Salary and Benefits
- $130,000 to $170,000, applicable to Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany. Compensation for other locations may vary.
