Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Senior Attorney or Senior Counsel to join its Texas-based Litigation Business Unit. This role is open to candidates near any of the firm’s Texas offices, including Austin, Beaumont, Collin County, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned litigator with deep experience managing complex litigation matters, looking to contribute meaningfully to a high-performing, collaborative team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume litigation docket with minimal supervision
- Handle all phases of litigation including motion practice, hearings, depositions, discovery, and trial preparation
- Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and provide strategic advice
- Lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff
- Maintain exceptional client service standards and ensure timely communication
- Collaborate across practice groups as needed

Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of litigation experience (defense preferred)
- Demonstrated trial experience and full-case management capabilities
- Active license to practice in Texas (required)
- Strong academic background
- Excellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation, and research skills
- Professional, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Contract or temp-only work histories will not be considered
Salary & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $160,000 – $175,000
