Our client, a prestigious California-based law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of experience to join their Toxic Tort practice group. The role allows for remote work, with in-person court appearances as required. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle toxic tort litigation matters, including asbestos and product liability cases.
- Draft and respond to written discovery, manage depositions, and prepare for motion practice and court hearings.
- Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and conduct legal research.
- Participate in client meetings, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Stay current on legal developments in toxic tort and related areas of law.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on case management and strategy.

Qualifications:
- Active membership in the State Bar of California.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- 1-5 years of litigation experience (Toxic Tort or related areas preferred).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex litigation matters and work collaboratively.
- Exposure to asbestos, toxic tort, or product liability litigation is a plus.
- Willingness to appear in court as needed.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: $110,000 to $170,000, depending on experience.
