Part-Time Liquor Store Associate

Position Summary

As a Store Associate at Top Ten Liquors, you’re the heartbeat of the store experience. From greeting guests and sharing your product knowledge to keeping shelves stocked and the store looking great, you’re essential to creating a welcoming, efficient, and fun environment. Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Deliver a friendly and helpful experience to every guest. Provide recommendations, answer questions, and go the extra mile (like carrying out product).
• Sales Support: Share current promotions, recommend new products, and help drive sales through outstanding service.
• Store Readiness: Ensure shelves are stocked, displays are tidy, and aisles are clear. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Inventory & Merchandising: Receive deliveries, restock shelves, rotate product, and assist with merchandising displays.
• Compliance: Follow all laws regarding the sale of alcohol and comply with all company policies and safety procedures.
• Team Contribution: Support your teammates and communicate effectively to keep things running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred but not required
• 21 years old
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and reliability
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move for the majority of your shift

Availability Requirements

Store Associates must be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week, including at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) with no restrictions. Flexibility is appreciated, and consistent availability helps ensure smooth store operations.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced retail environment, especially during weekends and holidays
• Frequent standing, walking, and interacting with customers during peak hours
• Occasional exposure to cold temperatures while stocking coolers
• Noise levels consistent with retail store settings
• May involve working alone during certain shifts (e.g., early opens or late closes)
