Business Development Manager – HVAC Service Agreements
Location: West Texas | Lubbock
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We need a Business Development Manager to grow our HVAC service and maintenance business across West Texas. This role focuses on selling service maintenance agreements for commercial HVAC equipment, including chillers and cooling towers.
This is a hunter-style B2B sales role. You will prospect, cold call, network, and build your own pipeline—no leads are provided. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, relationship-driven, and comfortable selling technical service solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and cold call to develop new B2B customers
- Sell HVAC service and maintenance agreements to commercial and industrial clients
- Build and manage a sales pipeline from first contact to close
- Attend networking, industry, and community events to generate opportunities
- Meet with facility managers, building owners, and decision-makers
- Conduct site visits and identify customer service needs
- Collaborate with internal service and operations teams
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of B2B sales experience (2–3 years preferred)
- Experience selling mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or service-based solutions
- Proven ability to prospect and close new business independently
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable in a performance-driven, commission-based role
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Compensation
- $70,000–$80,000 base: typical starting range
- $80,000–$90,000 base: highly experienced candidates
- Commission and incentive opportunities in addition to base salary
