Construction & Renovation Manager (Full-Time)
Northern California | Sacramento & San Joaquin Valley
On-Site | Full-Time
We’re growing fast and looking for a hands-on, experienced Construction & Renovation Manager to take the lead on renovation and construction projects across Northern California. If you’ve lived in job sites, speak fluent contractor, and know how to turn rough properties into finished assets , this role is for you.
This is not a desk-only job. You’ll be in the field, on-site, solving problems, managing crews, and making sure projects move fast, clean, and on budget.
- What You’ll Be Doing (Your Day-to-Day)
- Own renovation and construction projects from start to finish
- Manage multiple active job sites across Sacramento & San Joaquin Valley
- Coordinate and oversee GCs, subs, inspectors, vendors, and suppliers
- Build scopes of work, timelines, and budgets , then actually hit them
- Review bids, negotiate pricing, and control costs
- Ensure work meets quality standards, safety codes, and local regulations
- Conduct site walks, inspections, and progress check-ins
- Troubleshoot issues on the fly (because construction never goes perfectly)
- Provide clear updates to ownership on timelines, budgets, and risks
- Help improve systems, processes, and vendor relationships as we scale
- What We’re Looking For
- 5 years experience in construction management, real estate renovations, or new builds
- Strong knowledge of residential & light commercial renovations
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
- Deep understanding of construction sequencing, materials, and costs
- Experience working with permits, inspections, and city requirements
- Confident communicator who can lead crews and hold people accountable
- Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Valid driver’s license & ability to travel between job sites
- Bonus Points If You Have
- GC license or prior experience working under one
- Experience with value-add real estate projects
- Familiarity with Northern California building codes
- Experience scaling renovation operations or managing portfolios
- Can read plans, specs, and construction drawings with ease
