Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with product questions and recommendations
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and ensure displays look clean and organized
- Assist with unloading trucks and restocking product as needed
- Maintain store cleanliness, including coolers, shelves, counters, and floors
- Check IDs and follow all Illinois alcohol retail laws and policies
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Support daily operations and work as part of a team
Requirements
- Must be 21 to sell alcohol (per Illinois law)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move cases (up to ~40 lbs)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts
- Retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn about beer, wine, and spirits
